Hi, my name is Ankur Prakash. I’m a loving husband, a proud father, a devoted son and an explorer of things I haven’t yet learnt from because I haven’t yet tried them.
Hi, I’m Ankur Prakash, and my life has been quite the adventure so far! I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India in 2004 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. But the real highlight of my college days? Meeting Rakhi, my amazing wife. I got lucky and we hit it off back then, and in 2009, we made it official. Best decision ever!
Right after college, I kicked off my career at Eicher Motors. Five months later, I joined Schlumberger in December 2004, and that’s where the real journey began. Schlumberger has taken me around the world—literally! I’ve lived on four continents, worked in a bunch of roles, picked up invaluable experiences, explored diverse cultures, made friends all over the world and built a global perspective that continues to shape my approach to work and life.
Fast forward to 2012, Rakhi and I were blessed with our son, Aarav. Watching him grow up has been the most rewarding (and occasionally exhausting!) part of my life. He’s curious, full of energy, and keeps us humble — it’s been a blast.
These days, we’re based in Houston, Texas. Along with my work at Schlumberger, Rakhi and I also run a franchise business. It’s been a wild but exciting ride balancing corporate life with entrepreneurship. We love the challenge and the chance to learn something new every day.
When I’m not working or running the business, I love spending time with my family, exploring new places, and just soaking in all that life has to offer. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
