I joined Eicher Motors right after completing my engineering degree. Eicher Motors manufactures commercial vehicles in India in a joint venture with Sweden’s AB Volvo.

For the time that I was there, I worked on a new suspension system for their tractor trailers with the object of improving the in cabin comfort for these heavy vehicles. I was able to design, prototype and test it, all within 4 months with some very encouraging results. During my brief time there, I got to see and understand how the different parts of a corporation work and how different functions of a big organization are all inter-connected and drive towards the same goal.
